The Friends of Ayesha Community School (FACS)facs

Our mission is to provide a forum where parents, teachers, administrators, and other concerned adults can together discuss ways to promote quality education, encourage community involvement and work for nurturing a healthy environment for every child at Ayehsa Community School.

We are a group of mums who aim to help the school primarily by raising funds which the school needs; we also have regular feedback meetings with the Principal and the Vice Principal.

With the help of parents and volunteers, during the 2016-17 academic year, we organised an Animal Show at Eid for children, numerous cake/food sales, a Ladies Night at the Cavendish Hotel and a fabulous Summer Fair.

Alhamdulilah, with your help, we were able to raise £22,385 for the school. From these funds £16,200 have been spent towards buying Atlases, Thesauruse and books and other resources for children’s learning at school. A fuller breakdown can be found in our most recent Newsletter.

We are always looking for new members so if you would like to join us you can join us at our regular meetings or email us.

FACS meets EVERY THURSDAY from 8:30AM - 10:00AM. Everyone is welcome to attend to discuss how we can support the school.
The time commitment is small and every bit of help makes a real difference. There will always be fresh opportunities to get involved.
